Bloggers like blogging and reading other blogs so I thought I would compile a list of popular blogs for men to read, since the majority of Lilith’s online audience are men…
First up is Trunk Club, which is a great site that discusses men’s style trends, offering a bespoke service to suiting and booting those who are not sure ‘where’ and ‘what’ to buy. The smart man realises that an outfit has to suit a certain body type. For example, a man with heavy muscle mass should never wear a tight suit or mac – period. Trunk Club will take into account your proportions and recommend clothes that will look awesome on YOU.
If you are looking for a blog that is lifestyle general and not focussed on fashion, then look up Mantelligence. The hint is in the title and this website offers the savvy man a shortcut to most dilemmas: how to make your flat sleepover-ready for a girl, how to develop a photographic memory, how watch movements work: is it quartz or mechanical? The founder of Mantelligence contributes frequently to the blogging so there is something refreshingly transparent on this site.
The next blog is about the funniest conversations overheard in my UberPool on Thrillist.com. This blog recounts bizarre conversations when civilians are sharing an Uber. (I use the word civilians when labelling the general public because I trained as a pilot and I spend too much time on my Xbox). Ever been in a sauna or a lift with strangers and someone has opted to break the ice by talking about random subjects? This is exactly the same thing. Whether someone is moaning about their florist or reprimanding political decisions, some of the best conversations happen in enclosed areas…or over a phone when you book an elite escort. 😉
